Renieri Wines

Renieri is located in the southern part of the territory of Montalcino, facing Monte Amiata. The vineyards are at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level with a 360-degree exposure, from east to northwest- The soils at Renieri estate are predominately volcanic, with calcareous soils and stone intermixed with red clay and tuffs. The primary varietal is Sangiovese for Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. There is a small production of Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot for the Renieri IGT wines. The cellar is almost entirely underground to allow the use of gravity to move the grapes and take advantage of the natural and perfect temperature for aging the wines.
